DESCRIPTION

This application helps you keep your disks clean by deleting files 
corresponding to file name patterns or extensions that you specify.  
Deletor also has support for filter packs, which allow you to store 
sets of your most commonly used file deletion specifications.  
Combine this with the command line access to the program and you can 
easily automate the cleaning process with batch files, shortcuts, 
or a scheduler.


REVISION HISTORY

- v2.2a on 1999-03-03: Fixed a bug causing file scanning to stop 
  prematurely when a folder with security attributes was encountered.
- v2.2  on 1998-11-23: Added time duration filtering, folder 
  attributes filtering, and command line access to the time filter.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

- Windows 95, 98, NT v4.0, or later.
- Enough free disk space to accommodate the software (less than 0.5MB).


PACKAGE CONTENTS

- SetupDeletor.exe: Software product setup file.
- ReadMe.txt: This file.
- File_ID.diz: Product identification summary.


INSTALLATION

Close the application if it is currently running, then run the 
SetupDeletor.exe file and follow the instructions.


UPGRADES

Close the application if it is currently running, then install 
the new version on top of the old one, unless otherwise specified 
in this file.


UNINSTALLATION

Close the application if it is currently running.  Click the Windows 
"Start" button, and select "Settings", then "Control Panel".  
Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs item".  Proceed by 
double-clicking the line corresponding to this product and follow 
the instructions.

Note that configuration files, generally with a ".dat" extension, 
and registration files, namely "Registration Form.txt", may be 
created by the application and will not be deleted for your 
convenience in case you wish to refer to them at a later date.  
Delete these files manually if you do not want them.


REGISTRATION / HOW TO BUY

This product is being provided to you for evaluation purposes.  
You may use it free for 30 days, after which time you are obligated 
to purchase a license or you must discontinue using it.  You will be 
prompted to register daily during the evaluation period, and each 
time you run the software thereafter.  Answer "Yes" to the 
registration prompt in order to review registration information.  
This information may also be accessed by pressing the "Registration" 
button from the About window.
